Dara Torre

Dara Torre has served in the Vermont House of Representatives since 2023, representing the Washington-2 district towns of Duxbury, Fayston, Moretown, Waitsfield and Warren. She is clerk of the House Energy and Digital Infrastructure Committee and has worked to advance climate policy and clean energy legislation. Dara helped start the nation’s first legislative Public Health Caucus and is active in the Climate Solutions Caucus’ leadership team. Until recently, she worked with a clean energy policy group in Montpelier and previously served in various local and regional planning roles.

Dan Fingas

Dan Fingas joined Vermont Conservation Voters as Executive Director in 2025. Prior to joining VCV, Dan led VNRC’s grassroots climate organizing work as climate action coordinator and supported the Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network. Before joining VNRC, Dan was the Movement Politics Director and Organizing Director for Rights and Democracy in Vermont. Dan served in various roles in community organizations and unions in Michigan and New York before moving to Vermont in 2019. Dan holds a B.A. in History and Communication from Albion College and lives in Plainfield with his wife Mo.
